Our Neighbors Are Our Biggest Fans!

Storytime:
A long time ago before history(late 2006), 2 early native Awake! Awake! members were recording drums for an ep. Being the nomadic musicians they were, they made loud noises everywhere the went.  Upon this day they happened to be in a small dwelling called a townhouse.  Some other natives before them decided it would be best to build the dwellings very close together.  The walls made of straw and mud were so very thin and let all sorts of soundscapes through.  Despite this, the early Awake! Awake! members longed to beat on the animal skins and express their warrior songs.  And so they did, at a most reasonable hour when the sun was high in the sky and most grumpier elders were at work in the forests and fields.  However the elder next door did not work and others from their dwelling would leave and return several times throughout the night. Upon returning they would leave their steads idling very loudly for 30 sun dial minutes at a time.  The early Awake! Awake! members knew they were selling the forbidden forest drugs and feared even speaking a greeting to them.   Anyway the Awake! Awake!iens commenced the beating of the skins and promptly heard rapping on the front door.  They waited for it to subside and then once again commenced the beating.  This went back and forth many times and they eventually noticed the above pictured letter written by the neighboring natives.  They laughed, plotted and showed it to some returning friends.  One suggested they might mark it with the red pen of linguistics judgment and return it to the next door dwellers.  They all laughed boisterously, but then agreed that being sellers of the forbidden forest drugs they probably possessed very large boom sticks.  So they all went to Moe's Grill, ate, returned and beat the animal skins a few more times that day.  The End

The Next Door Dwellers think that:
Drums aren't part of music.
1:00am is actually 1:00pm
Polic - Is an organization empowered to enforce laws and protect
and last The Freight train smoking, sailor speaking landlord with the bitting dog actually cares about loud noises during the daytime

Awake! Awake! heavily avoids recording in these situations now and we do appreciate the letter instead of a big boom stick in the face.  We were just early natives.
